Pada tanggal 29 April, telah terungkap melalui sebuah perusahaan produksi film, Hyun Bin telah berperan dalam film mendatang, berjudul ‘The King’s Wrath’.
Ini akan menjadi sageuk (tradisional) drama yang pertama bagi Hyun Bin, di mana ia akan memainkan sebagai Jeongjo, yang menyaksikan ayahnya mati karena perintah oleh kakeknya.
Film ini akan disutradarai oleh PD Kim Jae Gyu, yang telah menghasilkan drama populer, seperti Damo dan Beethoven Virus. Ini juga akan menjadi film sageuk pertamanya.
Film ini direncanakan akan rilis pada tahun 2014.

The actor posed for the cover of Esquire‘s April issue, his first pictorial since he wrapped up his army service three months ago. The photo shoot captured his stylish fashion as well as his handsome features.
The staff applauded the actor for his ability to express different images ranging all the way from an innocent boy to a charismatic man. Hyun Bin pulled off the fashion styles with his chic trademark charm.
He shared, “I’m curious to see how I’ve changed.” During the following interview, he also revealed his thoughts on spending two years in the marines not as a famous star, but as Kim Tae Pyung.
Hyun Bin confessed that he had kept in contact with ‘Secret Garden‘ co-star Ha Ji Won after he was discharged from the army.
As you may remember, ‘Secret Garden’ was one of the biggest dramas of 2010, with various parodies popping up everywhere. When Hyun Bin announced that he had broken up with Song Hye Kyo not too long after the drama wrapped up, fans couldn’t help but hope that the ‘Secret Garden’ actors come together again.
MBC‘s ‘Section TV‘ covered Hyun Bin’s first official outing since he came back from his enlistment. During the short interview, he admitted, “I texted Ha Ji Won after I was discharged from the army.” He also added, “I want to meet everyone again soon. I can’t say when that’ll happen yet.“
